The Nike Air Max 90 “Running Club – Deep Royal Blue” is a colorway of the classic running shoe with a decidedly 1970s-esque aesthetic that harkens back to the glory years of Nike’s running shoe category. From the brand’s “Air Max Running Club” collection, the “Deep Royal Blue” was released in November 2021. Design elements include a Deep Royal Blue suede overlay that appears on the toe, forefoot, and mid-panel. A hairy black suede mudguard adds another layer of design intrigue to the shoe. The dark blue synthetic textile base is contrasted by a University Red leather Swoosh on either side. A classic red “Nike” logo appears on the heel, replacing the Air Max 90’s original “Air Max” branding. “AMRC” and “BVRTN, OR” branding tabs are incorporated into the design of the lateral side of the left and right shoe, respectively.
