The Nike Air Ghost Racer “Neon Yellow” is the return of the anything-but-subtle Nike performance running design that first debuted in the late 1990s. Designed with the intention to be seen at night while running, the electrifying colors sprayed across the upper of the Air Ghost Racer are definitely hard to miss. Vivacious neon mesh acts as the base of the upper and peers beneath several white and dark grey overlays. Soft white suede covers the toe, part of the mid-panel, the heel, and eyelets and adds a luxe vibe to the heavy ‘90s-era sportswear aesthetic of the model. Further detailing includes a contrasting metallic red leather Swoosh, neon laces, and a deep red mini Swoosh embroidered on a grey overlay on the heel. Finishing off the key design components are a red sock-liner, a white rubber midsole with a carbon fiber plate at the midfoot and heel, and a neon, black, and white accented outsole. This first-ever retro of the Nike Air Ghost Racer “Neon Yellow” was released on July 19th, 2019.
