The Nike Air Max 90 “Be True” is a special edition of the iconic retro running shoe celebrating PRIDE. Part of the 2019 Nike “BETRUE” collection in support of the LGBTQIA+ community, this Air Max 90 features a colorful array of accents across the upper, including a rainbow style treatment to the multiple embroidered Swooshes. The entire collection recognizes the 50-year anniversary of the Stonewall uprising in NYC, a pivotal moment in gay rights. It also pays homage to Gilbert Baker, the LGBTQIA+ rights activist who designed the rainbow flag. This colorful Air Max 90 is completed with sockliner graphics that show the eight colors and meanings of each from the flag. The Air Max 90 “Be True” released on June 15, 2019.
