The FPAR x Nike SB Dunk High is a collaboration between the Forty Percent Against Rights streetwear label and Nike’s skateboarding footwear division. FPAR is one of a few Tetsu Nishiyama-headed Japanese streetwear imprints. Believing that any original artwork changed at least 40% no longer has its rights, the brand puts that notion on full display on the SB Dunk High. Charcoal grey and black leather panels comprise the entire upper. The tongue of the design is lifted off the Air Jordan 6 with Nike SB branding now appearing in place of “Air Jordan.” Netting covers the tonal Swoosh on the mid-panel with embroidered Nike SB branding covering the black leather lace throat. Completing the look of the unique Jordan-infused Dunk is a black rubber sole. The FPAR x Nike SB Dunk High was released on October 25, 2019.
