The Nike Air Force 1 Low “DJ Premier” is a limited edition collaboration by the renowned hip-hop producer on the retro basketball shoe from 2010. Hailing from Houston, Texas, DJ Premier is one of the most influential hip-hop producers in the world, having worked with the likes of the Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, and many other rap luminaries. Here, DJ Premier puts his own spin on the Air Force 1. The shoe features a mostly monochromatic black appearance, with yellow contrast stitching appearing around each overlay panel. Black faux reptilian leather is found on the mid-panel, while tonal nubuck is located on the forefoot and heel. Black tumbled leather appears on the perforated toe. “DJ Premier” branding is found on the heel, forefoot, and on the lace tips. A semi-translucent outsole with additional DJ Premier-inspired graphics completes the design. Release date: January 9, 2010
