The Nike Waffle One “Black/White” is a go-anywhere colorway of the low-top shoe that mimics the styling of sacai and Nike’s LDWaffle and Undercover and Nike’s Daybreak silhouettes. The Waffle One is a modern interpretation of classic Nike running shoes like the LDV, Waffle Racer, and Daybreak, all of which were instrumental in Nike’s success as a footwear brand during its early years in the 1970s. The design features a black mesh base with tonal suede overlays on the toe, eyelets, and heel. A black leather Swoosh graces either side. Like the sacai x Nike LDWaffle, the Waffle One employs a stacked foam midsole for a future-forward aesthetic.
