The Nike Cortez ‘23 “Vivid Sulfur” is a colorway of the modern version of the retro running shoe that calls to mind the black-and-yellow appearance of Bruce Lee’s tracksuit. Also comparable to the Onitsuka Tiger sneakers that completed Uma Thurman’s Bruce Lee-inspired custom in the movie “Kill Bill,” the “Vivid Sulfur” features a yellow leather base with slightly darker yellow appearing on the suede toe, eyelets, and heel. A black leather Swoosh is seen on either side. Classic “Nike” branding is printed in white lettering on the yellow tongue tag and in yellow lettering on the heel. Release date: August 25, 2023
