The New Balance 57/40 “Henna/Neo Flame” is one of two colorways of the lifestyle shoe by the heritage sneaker brand released side-by-side in September 2021. The 57/40 silhouette debuted in New Balance’s footwear line in 2020 and is a modified version of the New Balance 574 that updates the shoe with a more contemporary look. The upper features a combination of maroon mesh and suede on the toe and overlays. An oversized “N” logo appears in Neo Flame, or bright orange, on both sides of the shoe. Green accenting appears on the collar and inner lining. An orange motion “NB” logo is printed on the tongue tag. Additional details include maroon laces, a maroon mesh tongue, and a chunky, retro-inspired foam midsole, also in maroon, that gives the 57/40 “Henna/Neo Flame” a vintage performance running shoe look.
