The Women’s Nike Daybreak “Catechu” is a women’s-exclusive, plant-inspired colorway of the vintage performance running shoe from the “Catechu” collection. A 2021 release by Nike, the “Catechu” utilizes a durable, hemp-like, white canvas upper in place of the Daybreak’s original nylon construction. A contrasting Light Sienna canvas Swoosh appears on either side of the shoe. The material is also found on the heel tab with “Nike” and “Catechu” detailing on the left and right shoes, respectively. Additional details include a catechu embroidery on the lateral side of the heel, and a cork-inspired lace dubrae. The outsole features a cork-like design, as well.
