The Fragment x Nike Dunk High “City Pack – Beijing 2021” is a modern re-release of Hiroshi Fujiwara’s collaborative Dunk colorway that salutes some of the world’s most fashionable cities. Debuting in 2010, the Fragment-designed “City Pack” honored New York, London, and Beijing with unique mismatched colorways of the Dunk. Here, on the 2021 edition, Fragment and Nike do away with the “City Pack’s” original mismatched color block, opting for a more traditional Dunk look. Details include purple leather on the perforated toe and on the mid-panel and collar. Black leather overlays can be found on the forefoot, eyelets, collar, and Swoosh. Fragment’s lightning bolt motif appears on the lateral heel counter and industrial-style text is printed on the white midsole, a previously unseen detail on the original “Beijing” Dunk from 2010.
