The Stussy x Nike Air Huarache “Dark Olive” is a February 2021 re-release of the first-ever sneaker collaboration between the legendary streetwear brand and Nike. Lauded as the first collaboration of its kind, the Stussy and Nike partnership originated in 2000, when the idea of streetwear and sportswear brands working together was a foreign concept. The movement has swept through the fashion industry in the two decades since, and that’s partly due to the popularity of the “Dark Olive” Huarache One of two colorways from the initial Stussy and Nike collection, this modern re-release keeps the look of the “OG” design intact with yellow and white neoprene detailing on the toe, mid-panel, and heel, respectively. An earthy shade of Dark Olive synthetic nubuck graces the various overlays on the upper and on the circular Air Huarache logo on the tongue. Stussy outfits the Air Huarache’s signature heel counter in a retro inspired cream hue. Release date: February 18, 2021.
