The Ruohan Wang x Nike Blazer Mid Flyleather is part of the Berlin artist’s expressive collaboration with Nike on some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. Released by Nike in September 2020, the Ruohan Wang capsule features an environmentally conscious approach to design as this Blazer Mid is composed of at least 50% recycled leather fibers. Wang’s use of color is prevalent in her artwork, and that holds true here, as well. Both sides of the upper of the Blazer Mid Flyleather features abstract graphics printed onto the aforementioned recycled leather material. Hues of purple, yellow, orange, blue, and green used in the imagery help turn this shoe into a piece of art. A white leather Swoosh appears on either side. The toe, eyelets, and heel are finished off in white leather. Hand drawn detailing by Wang can be found on the tongue. Release date: September 24, 2020.
