The Nike Air VaporMax EVO “Evolution of Icons” is a futuristic, hybrid shoe that joins elements of Nike’s retro Air Max 96 II and Vapormax models into one design. The “Evolutions of Icons” series honors past Air Max models while simultaneously keeping an eye toward the future of the iconic performance running shoe collection. On the upper, a Midnight Navy mesh material forms the base. Scattered white leather overlays contrast the look throughout. A synthetic light grey Swoosh can be found on either side and a gold synthetic overlay, inspired by the Air Max Deluxe, on the collar. “Nike” detailing appears on the top of the ventilated neoprene tongue. An overlay referencing the design of the heel of the Nike Air Max 93 “Dusty Cactus” provides a retro inspired look. Reflective “EVO” badges sit above the aforementioned design. The Air VaporMax EVO features Nike’s heralded VaporMax cushioning setup underfoot for total comfort.
