The Unheard Of x adidas Rivalry Lo “Grandma’s Couch” is a collaboration by the Cincinnati, Ohio based retailer and adidas on a colorway of the retro basketball shoe with a unique design. More specifically, the colorway is inspired by Unheard Of founder and owner Phil Lipschutz’s journey, which started with him sleeping on his grandmother’s couch and has now led to his very own adidas collaboration. As for the design of the shoe, the upper features an embroidered floral motif on the white canvas base and tongue that’s inspired by the look of vintage couches. The overlays are designed in purple tumbled leather. Contrasting red leather Three Stripes branding appears on the sides. Gold accents are found on the eyelets, lace tips, lace dubrae, and on the branding on the heel. Underfoot, a brown gum sole completes the look. Release date: November 4, 2023
