The Highsnobiety x adidas ZX 8000 is a Spring 2021 collaboration between the online streetwear and sneaker blog and adidas on the retro lifestyle shoe. From adidas’s ‘A-ZX” series, Highsobiety’s take on the classic ZX 8000 is “inspired by craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail,” as its nickname, “Qualitat,” in German, suggests. The Highsnobiety x adidas ZX 8000 follows the duo’s previous partnership from 2016 on the Ultra Boost. The entire upper arrives in a monochromatic beige hue, including the mesh on the toe, sides, and collar, and on the leather overlays, heel cup, and Three Stripes branding on the mid-panel. Highsnobiety branding appears on the heel and on the lace dubrae. A classic gum-colored rubber outsole provides a welcomed contrast to the neutral look of the shoe. Release date: April 22, 2021
