The Overkill x adidas ZX 8500 “Graffiti” is a collaboration between the Berlin based sneaker boutique and adidas for the latter’s “A-ZX” collection. One of 26 colorways of various adidas ZX models to release in 2020, the “Graffiti,” as its nickname would imply, explores a maximalist theme with bright neon colors on its design. A ridged pink mesh panel appears on both sides of the shoe beneath neon orange-colored Three Stripes branding. A neon green plastic overlay contrasts the look on the bottom of the mid-panel and on the lower eyelets. A purple molded heel counter contrasts the red-and-blue polka dot pattern on the back of the shoe. “Overkill” branding appears in a stencil-like, graffiti-inspired graphic on the lateral side of the white suede forefoot overlay. Mismatched “OK” and Trefoil logos appear on the right and left tongue, respectively. Release date: April 30, 2021
